This handlebar Handrail was created using parts reclaimed from old bikes at the Bristol bike project. It uses an Oak dowel to visually tie the rail to the treads. The stems act as ideal self-fastening supports and the drop handlebars allowed for corners and changes in the pitch of the stairs. No longer a working farm this scheme i.
